Large Metro training drills took place days before Pentagon shooting

24 Feb 2010 (MD) If you see lots of police and hear commotion at the Friendship Heights Metro station late Wednesday night, relax. It's just a drill. But it is a drill that will simulate gunfire between two shooters in the station, with multiple passengers injured or killed. Metro says its police department's special response team will respond to the incident, along with the police, fire and emergency medical services personnel from D.C., Montgomery County and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
