Bereaved father says ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair has 'blood on his hands'
Oct 10 2009
TONY BLAIR was told yesterday he had "blood on his hands".
At a memorial service for those killed in Iraq, Peter Brierley - whose soldier son died in 2003 - refused to touch the former PM.
He told him: "I'm not shaking your hand - you've got blood on it."
The bereaved dad, of Batley, Yorkshire, said later: "Blair is a war criminal.
"He's got the blood of my son and all of the other men and women who died out there on his hands."
Iraq veterans and bereaved families joined the Queen, Prince William, PM Gordon Brown and military leaders for the poignant service.
